3 miles of golden sand attract many families to the seaside resort of Borth. Swim in the sea off Borth’s gently shelving beach, take the children to the rock pools or play games on the sand dunes at Ynyslas. This scenic, sandy spot, is also popular for its beauty and wide open spaces. For superb scenery walk the coastal path from Borth to Aberystwyth, whilst at the summit make the most of the panoramic views by visiting the Camera Obscura, before taking a gentle ride down to the promenade via the Cliff Railway.
Play golf at Borth’s long-established 18 hole links course or pony trek through unspoilt countryside. The Animalarium at Borth houses a collection of exotic, unusual and interesting animals to amuse and delight you. Visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth situated in the Craft Centre at Corris and take a dramatic underground boat ride, or perhaps ride on the narrow gauge steam train from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge where magnificent waterfalls await you. From New Quay take a boat trip out into Cardigan Bay where there’s an excellent chance of seeing some of the bay’s wildlife including the awe-inspiring Bottlenose Dolphins and Harbour Porpoise.
We will gladly help you in planning exciting days out during your
